Default Sandy River Report

Here I fished the Sandy River looking for a fresh Salmon to run up the river. It was raining and thought that should have brought some in. All I seen was a alot of spawned out ones and dead ones on the River floor. I was also hoping that the river would rise as it was rainning this morning. The river seemed really low still.

Wouldn't you know it, next thing tap, tap, tap, I lift the rod up and set the hook and brought a beautiful Steelhead in. My first Steel head from that river. I was all set up to catch a salmon, hopefully a Chinnook but none liked me. I was so happy to catch a Steelhead so I had something to smoke, as of yesterday I ate the last piece I had from about 6 weeks ago which was a Coho. Can you believe it lasted that long? It got burried on the bottom of the Fridge. Anyway it was a good day to be on the River again.
