Broken down? Off pavement or get towed.
I had to leave my trailer on the shoulder last week to run into town. It was dark, so I called for an officer if available. An officer (a Deschutes fisherman!) did arrive.
I asked about leaving a vehicle or trailer on the road side.
Their requirement: Any venicle left on the paved portion of highway or shoulder, must be towed. Be forewarned.
