2008 Special Oylmpics

To My fellow IFISHERS,

I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Paul Navarro and I work as a Deputy for the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.

On February 29, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. I will be participating in the Polar Plunge to benefit the Special Olympics of Oregon. The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up to launch the Second Annual Polar Plunge in our community. In its first year, the Polar Plunge raised almost $40,000 to benefit Special Olympics of Oregon.
The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support Special Olympics of Oregon athletes while participants jump, walk or slowly crawl into the frigid and icy waters of the Deschutes River!
