Default Daiichi question answered

I received the following information regarding re-sharpening Daiichi hooks from TJ at Daiichi.

Because Daiichi hooks are formed from 80-Carbon Steel and they don't rely on chemicals to sharpen the hooks, Daiichi's can be re-sharpened.

The Gator Grip Sharpener, or a nail file will do a fine job. Remember when sharpening to take as little metal off as possible. Dremel tools or bench grinders are to fast and over sharpen and over heat the point. Like Barry Manilow, a little sharpening can go a long way

Not sure about the nail file, but at least you can put your hook file to them and get them sharp again. I'm also not too sure about the Barry Manilow reference!

I'm disturbed that a hook manufacturer would reference such a pansy singer.
