Default Cowlitz Smelt Report Friday 2/13 2:00pm

Sloooowwww!!!

They are there but you have to work for them.
1,2,3 at a time and that is when they are on the bite.

Talked to one guy that ad his two kids with him (didn't ask if they helped) and he had one 20# bucket.
Said it took him about an hour and twenty minutes to an hour and a half.

That was at the Carnival market hole.
Not to many folks out dipping along the way so that kinda clues you in also.

Best method was driftin' or back bouncin' power nets.

I'll wait 'till it gets to two scoops and you're out of there.

Oh your welcome Freak.

That's the only reason I went there is to get a report and post it.
Heck I live right here anyway.

Long drive for some folks only to find some "scratch fishin'"

Went around 7pm. VERY, VERY slow. I dipped 40 fish in 2 hours.
