A prayer for my wife
My wife had a mamogram two weeks ago. She got a call that they found some irregularities and she needs to get addition images taken. I take her in tomorrow afternoon. Please keep Gini in your thoughts and prayers.
God bless

Re: A prayer for my wife
Thanks for the prayers everyone. It means a lot. We went in for more images today. There is a small mass in Gini's left breast. They took 6 sets of pictures. Will have to hear what the doctor has to say after he gets the results from the radiologist. They may just monitor it for awhile and do regular mammograms to see if there are changes, or they may do a biopsy. Just don't know at this time.
Thanks again for all the prayers.
God bless

Re: A prayer for my wife
Thanks to everyone for their prayers. Gini actually got her results back yesterday. I didn't have time to post last night after we got home from attending Mass.
After reviewing the images, they suspect that the mass is benign. They do not feel that it is necessary to do a biopsy at this time, but will closely monitor the growth for any changes with another mammogram in a six months. That is a relief, but I think we would both feel better knowing for sure. Gini is going to talk further to her doctor.
Again, thanks to all for the prayers.
God bless

Re: A prayer for my wife
It is great news. The Lord has always been there to watch out for Gini and myself. We came to realize that in all of those years when God was not a priority in our life, we were always a priority to God as He continued to bless us. I think that is one of the main reasons that Gini and i have decided to return to church and strengthen our relationship with God.

Sorry I didn't read this sooner. Yes, thank God that it was benign!!!
You are wise to see things this way:

I would also add that consider what the alternative outcome might have mean't, - and NEVER forget what a gift every day you have together truly is.
God bless,
