Ford Vehicle CD players
Getting this from a Ford repair garage, For whatever reason, newer ford cd players do not like home made CDs. Ford shops are sending in quite a few stereo units to a repair shop for CDs that would not eject and get hung up inside.

Chevy C D players don't either ... This is from personal experience ...
Leave the labels off they really gum up the works ...

Homemade CD's are not the issue! The stick on labels are the issue. Just write on them with a Sharpie Permanent Marker and they will do fine. Heat cause the labels to come loose and jam the player. Happened to us on vacation!

That is it, I have a CD stomper and they labels were always gumming up the player. I stoped using labels and it is fine.

Re: Ford Vehicle CD players
I have a newer f150 and my cd hangs up sometimes of course only after the warrentee expired. If one hangs up it is normaly when its is hot or been jamin for awhile. I have found once the unit cools it will pop right out. If I keep the cds clean they dont hang up as much. Is their a product that cleans cd players or lubricates them as they sit mounted in the truck??? Would a blast of compressed air help?? I supose if it gets stuck Ill yank it out put some bumpin and thumpin back in it like we did back in the 80's- man I miss the beasty boy daze.
