Default making bio-diesel help!

I would like to try to make my own bio-diesel out of used cooking oil but I am having trouble finding places that use the liquid vegtable oil (corn, soy, or peanut oils) and not the shortening type oils. Does anybody out there know of a resturant or some business that uses the healther liquid type oil, around or close to the Gresham area. Any help or ideas would be greatly appricated.
Thank you in advance for any help given. lastbugle
p.ms would be great!

My buddy makes bio-diesel and it is suprising how many people are doing it now. He has several restaurants that he uses and he has to lock his barrels because people keep stealing his oil at the restaurants. Finding restaurants that aren't already being taken is very difficult. Good Luck!

Didn't KFC recently switch? And aren't Chinese food joints good places to go?

We had the same problem when we were doing it.

We had the best luck with the small stores. We just kept talking to owners until we had our quota.

We switched to having them put it back into the original 5 gal jug. Less chance of them dumping everything in the kitchen into the barrels. Too much debris and contaminants kept messing with our operation.

Hummmm I wonder if you could use that smell as bear bait just sit out in the woods and idle the truck, be inside all toasty warm, eating a sandwich, drinking hot cocoa. listening to the radio. See a bear get out and shoot.
