Re: McNary 10-16-2001
In a two hour timespan last evening at
the dam, my fishing buddy and I hooked
7 fish and landed 4. Three of the fish
were huge hatchery fish, the other was
about a 15 pound native. My buddy Gary
had the biggest at 37 inches and I got
a 36.5 incher. He also had a 30
incher. These fish are unbelievable.
We were not the only boat hooking
slabs. VORTEXES RULE! Dam security is
getting ridiculous. Each night they
come up with a new rule. Latest one
was we had to stay 50 feet from the
wingwall and 50 yards from the
rip-rap. Everybody who used to bobber
fish on the rip rap cannot do it
anymore. Who would have thought a
terrorist could screw up fishing
areas. OSAMA has got to be erased!
