Default CHUM SALMON

TRYING TO FIND OUT INFO. ON THE CHUM RUN AT KENNEDY CREEK(OAKLAND BAY, OUTSIDE OF OLYMPIA WASHINGTON). I GO ONCE A YEAR AROUND THE FIRST WEEK IN NOVEMBER AND THEY ARE USUALLY THERE. JUST TRYING TO CONFIRM THIS FOR THIS YEAR.

A good place to ask for that info and keep updated on it is at http://www.nwfishing.com/ in the reader's forum area. In the past that has been a helpful place to get info on chum runs up there.

Dennis,

Actually Kennedy Creek is on Totten Inlet between Olympia and Shelton off Hwy 101. Johns Creek is on Oakland bay outside of Shelton on Hwy. 3.

Kennedy usually gets fish in late October, same with Johns creek. Try to time it early in the run, and you can get better quality fish than later in the run. Good luck......
