Default Trophy Walleye

Saw Bob Robert of Columbia Basin Guide Service at the Puyallup sportsmans show...did trips with him last year. He's the man if your looking to get into walleye. I signed up for trips with him again this year, March for the trophies and June for the eaters. I'll post the results...he said he'd be at the Portland show also.

I've fished with Bob three times in the past three years, and they've all been fun trips. He showed me a lot of good places to fish near Umatilla, and put my Dad on a 14# 3oz walleye two years ago (of course, we took a few pictures, measured her and let her go). Bob's a good old time guide -- works hard for his clients, tries to please and has a lot of good stories (besides good fishing). I've been down there with my own boats a few times since, and when I've run into him on the water he's always got some good tips. Last fall I went back with my Dad again and caught four over ten pounds and two under nine pounds in three days, and kept a bunch of "eaters" for the table. I'd recommend him any time.

How can I book a trip with him? I am looking for a guided walleye trip in the very near future. If you don't feel right about putting out his contact info, would PM me the info?

PM sent with contact info, cavdad45. I've fished with Bob enough that I know the Umatilla area enough that I fish it myself now, with very good results. When you pull down Bob's web site, you'll see a picture of my dad and his 14# walleye from 2006 along with many others. Good luck and good fishing.
