Need some help... (non-fishing...but I still need the help)
I am getting married in a few weeks (YIKES!!!), and I need to figure out a cool gift for my groomsmen. They are not die hard fishermen (if you can believe that), so I cant go the easy route.
Anyone have any ideas for some GOOD/COOL gifts for these guys? I dont want to do the standard flask, cigar holder, shot glass, etc.
HELP!!!!

Not die hard fishermen? Book em all a trip on a charter.
Or get them something engravable (sp?) with a witty phrase.
Cool pens with their names?
I know, a Women in Waders calender! They will become die hard fishermen after that eh?

I guess you don't want to do the "standard" pocketknife then, either. Always liked the small Buck knife with locking blade, monogrammed ... that's a quality gift, useful even for non-anglers (what's up with that? They must be GOLFERS).
6-pack? Also useful, but doesn't last long.
12-pack!

CT-
Get them a 5th of good 12 or 18 year single malt scotch. I have seen this gift a few times and it always seemed like a good one. Just make sure you give it to them AFTER the wedding is over.
Congrats!

Re: Need some help... (non-fishing...but I still need the help)
My pen ran out of ink, the beer stein leaked, and the "texas couch dance", while fun, just didn't last long enough. The 5th of Wild Turkey was the best one I got.
My wife vetoed the alcohol as a gift for my wedding, but she okay the monogrammed pocket knives, actually her idea. Pretty cool, and I know of two still in use. They were "old timer knives with two blades.

Last two gifts I've received for dressing up in a monkey suite and walking down the isle for the guy giving up his fishing weekends for life were>>>>
*Money clip, w/ credit card holder .. engraved initials on the back
*expensive cigar cutter from Rich's.

I gave my groomsmen monogramed Leatherman's tools twelve years ago and I notice that some of them still use them.

Re: Need some help... (non-fishing...but I still need the help)
I received a large crystal mug with my name etched all fancy-like on it for a wedding I was part of. I usually just drink water out of it, but I'd guess that whomever else got them would put in their beverage of choice.
