Default Fall River

If yall get tired of fighting off dough balls on eggle creek, grab your fly rod and try Fall River. The fishing is very good this time of year.

Amazing mayfly hatch this past Sunday. Fish were jumping out of the water all over the place. Even some of the larger fish were taking dries.

Default Re: Fall River

I'll be there Friday-Sunday, mainly flailing the "D" but figured on one side trip to Fall River.

Usually I only fish Fall R when the D. is closed. Is there a good access point other than the hatchery? I tried upstream once and found it very shallow and snaggy and fishless, though scenic ... and the cougar tracks had me looking 360 degrees most of the time.

Any detailed suggestions on flies? Size/color/style/presentation
