How has fishing been? I know the gorge won't be a possibility this weekend because of wind so I wanted to know how things are going elsewhere.

I finally found some decent size fish last weekend. I have had a horrible year up until last weekend. I caught over 100 keepers the last two years but it took me three trips to find any this year. I spent last weekend in the gorge and ended up with a 54, 44, and 42. We caught them all on fresh smelt.

Blue Water..
Took the day off and went to St Helens. Fished the lower end of the channel and first fish to the boat was a beauty 42 1/2. Fished further up the channel later in the day with several in the 40+ range. Nothing teriffic but a very enjoyable day.... If your going over the weekned be prepaired for the RAIN.

lower willamette have some very nice fish still there and they are very fresh Columbia river fish...Safety chain you have mail...... :grin: :grin: :grin:

We fished the willamette and we had 3 keepers by 10;30 58/48/47,we just stmbled on to a hot hole.
