Default Day On The River-Coastal Chrome(PICS)

My buddy Manny and I decided to hit the river today in hopes of a big ol' nate or some dandy broodstocks. Well it started off slow with it being really cold over night and some howling winds in the morning. Once we got away from the winds we saw a boat with a fish on so things were looking up. A short time later Manny got into one but things didn't work out and it came off after a few head shakes.
Soon after we ran into Bobby and Zaq who had decreased the steelhead population by a couple to that point.
Not long after we finally got the first one in the boat

A short time later I crackered one that swam right at the boat and I couldn't get the hooks to stick  . You win some you lose some. Then I got into this one which Manny took over and introduced to the wood shampoo

Well the day was beautiful, we got a couple fish but we weren't done yet there was a couple holes still left. We ran into TCM again and first cast into this hole Bobby hooks up. Here he is trying to bring that HOG into the net. It took a lttle finessing, but Zaq and Bobby were too much for this guy today .

Zaq and Bobby headed down so we worked this hole over a little more and on the way out I get hammered. This one had a little bit bigger shoulders than the others
This hen fought really, we got a quick pic and she took off like a champ.
We ended up going 3for6 all drift fishing. This was the nicest day fishing I've had in a while.
It was great meeting Bobby and Zaq, there great guys to fish around. We need hit the river one of these days guys.
