Rambo review!!!
ok I made it out last nite to watch the new Rambo and I LOVED IT!! sure it is clasic Rambo full of crazy circumstances but I thought it was exactly what anyone watching a Rambo movie would be looking for. IMO This was the best one of the bunch. And since this is a fishing site how about the push he got from that 6 inch pre fabed out of re-bar ( magically turned stainless..) prop. I wish my prop got push like that!!!
so what did the rest of you think....

Re: Rambo review!!!
Yea my wife and I went friday night. She wanted to see it. We both thought it was great for a Rambo movie. Action packed and great graphics. Movie was short but what else did they need to say with that story line. I think I'm going to go get a .50 Caliber Barret and Elk hunt with it. I like head shots. 2 thumbs up from this family. Have not been to the movies in awhile but $9.50 wow!!!!!!!

Re: Rambo review!!!
My son and I went and enjoyed it as Rambo is one of my favorites.
At 10 bucks for a movie... somebody has to get shot at for sure.
Jeremiah Johnson (1972)is another one of my favorite

Re: Rambo review!!!
Glad to hear that it is a good movie. I've been wanting to see it but the wife said to have fun. I guess that she thinks that it wouldn't be good because it's not a chick flick. Who knows.

Re: Rambo review!!!
We'll have to check it out on video. I had zero interest in the Rambo movies, until my husband finally convinced me that I needed to watch the first one to be "culturally literate." I really enjoyed it, and watched the sequels, too.
After watching the newest Rocky, I noticed that I was really distracted by his looks, and not in a good way. I hope he didn't pay much for the "work" he had done.

Re: Rambo review!!!
Watched it today and thought it was awsome the BEST Rambo I have seen. The body and head shots were very descripted thats for sure. That motor he was useing was deffinetely the longest shaft motor I think that was ever made thats for sure. If you dont like the shootum up with a lot of descrptive killing do not go see it. I heard a few negative things about the movie but I think they just dont know a good movie when they see on. I will deffinetely see it again when it comes out on DVD.

I really liked Jeremiah Johnson, but loved the book the movie was based on.

Re: Rambo review!!!
I cannot wait to see it, I have listened to some of the reviews by some of the harshest critics who said it is the best of the Rambo series.
I also found it funny some of the roles Stallone has turned down like a starring turn in the original “Superman,” Axel Foley in “Beverly Hills Cop,” “Die Hard,” “Witness,” “Coming Home,” “Romancing the Stone,” "Travolta's role in “Face/off,” "Die Hard," and “Rules of Engagement.”

Re: Rambo review!!!
On second thought... my brother said it was good, but described it as a "meat grinder." Realistic battle scenes, ala "The Patriot" and "Saving Private Ryan" I can handle. Ripping a guy's throat out with your bare hands - not so much.
Guess I'm kinda girly that way. But "Jeremiah Johnson" is good.

Re: Rambo review!!!
Well, judging from these reviews, it's a "must see" for me. Loved the first one and mentally blew off this one because it's, ya know, a 'sequel', with, ya know, Sly, because he hasn't really made anything good since Rocky, but I'm glad to hear that most of you liked it. The more gore (realistic) the better!
I can only recall two good Stallone movies, Rambo and, of course, Rocky (sans sequels).

Re: Rambo review!!!
Bonehead plot, but lots of exploding body parts. Very cool if you miss a good gory shoot em up film.
Stallone looks kinda weird now though with all his surgery.

Re: Rambo review!!!
I'm going to have to give it a big thumbs down. The plot was oh so thin and oh so unoriginal. Too short, for lack of plot, and if I was going to write a movie that I star in and direct, I would give myself more then ten lines. C'mon Sly, where's that imagination!

Re: Rambo review!!!
This was a typical Rambo Movie. A little short on plot but long on auction! I thought it was a great action show but being a Viet Nam Vet I have to vote for " First Blood " as my all time favorite Rambo Show. IMHO

Re: Rambo review!!!
Well I watched this latest attempt by Stallon and I was not impressed. Matter of fact I was very uncomfortable watching it. Perhaps that was the point. Lot's of unnecessary F bombs to boot. There was only one battle seen that was good for action. The two scenes of claymoores in the rice fields was one to many. WE got the idea the first time Sly.
That said, Burma is a horrible place and I would not be surprised if this kind of stuff and inhumanity goes on there. Gives you a little something to think about places like this and Dafar.
OVer all there really was no plot to this other than let the blood flow. I wont see this again.

Re: Rambo review!!!
I watched it and I thought it was too short, too gratuitous with the blood, over exaggerated with the physics of gun shots, short on dialog. But I did get it. Rambo went home, it's over......................until the Son of Rambo and Ramboastic Park (an old wealthy coot takes Rambo's DNA and mix's it with frog DNA and creates an island with nothing but female Rambo's, nature fools them and John is back.).

Re: Rambo review!!!
Oh it ain't over IP. Next one will be Rambo rescuing able bodied residents of the neighborhood resthome and the dismembering of their ungrateful relatives that put them there. After that Rambo will bring back the dead. Then it will be over.
