Apologies...and a band!

Not mine (still haven't actually shot a banded duck; or hit the lottery), but a friend on the island Friday...banded pintail hen (Hunt unit). I had the laptop and looked it up for him...Alaska, 2004.

When we went to the eastside checkstation, another hunter was showing Jerry his banded bull sprig.

My apologies to him for not paying more attention and getting his name (are you an Ifisher?).

Congratulations, though. Pretty neat to see something from so far away.

Jerry said the north banders tag just about everything they can get their hands on, so teal, shovelers and others also show up from time to time.

Off for the last day (sad times)...Thanks to all for a fun season (of watching the posts).
