Default Tuna!tuna!tuna!tuna!tuna!tuna!

OK here are those words that make so many I fishers almost faint with anticipation.

I say let the count down begin as it is a new year and the time is coming near. OK well maybe not so near but in a few more months give or take.

Ok now you all may be asking yourself why would a guy go and put out a post like this. Well the answer is simple as I just wanted to see how many people are truely addicted to TUNA.

I did not get a chance to go out after these addicting fish last year but I am bound and determined to do it this year. That is if I did not just become a blackfish with this lil ole friendly post. LOL

I think everyone who has caught tuna is hopelessly addicted. At least all the people I know.

I myself went after tuna every single time I got on the ocean last summer. Even when the salmon fishing was fast and furious I just couldnt stop and fish for them when tuna where within my reach.

I'm almost ready. Can't wait for that first day. It's like being reborn.
I'm only a little addicted.

I'll have two new rods and two rebuilt ones one of these days soon. Been making lures in my spare time. You could say I'm going to be ready....

Hank,

You are the man!!! I am so looking forward to getting out there with you again this year. 2007 started out great and then went sour but it ended great. So far 2008 has started out great and is looking brighter every day thanks to friends like you.

Here is to one of the kindest and most honorable Ifisher's I have ever had the pleasure and honor of crewing for.:dancing man:

Ok, Lukcy2 and myself are pondering the idea of going after Tuna this year. What tackel do we need ? From what I read you need to take alot of ice along.
Can anyone inform me on the process.
Tackel,how to rig
Troll speed
Tuna prep.

Blue,

OMG, too much to list in one post!

Do a search on tuna tactics and the like. You'll find a plethora of info on ifish. Lots of pics too. Try to go with someone early in the season and break out the wallet.
