Default SBE II and losing recoil pad

OK, so how many of you SBE II owners have lost your recoil pad? I am on loss #3. I found it the first two times, but think I am SOL this time. I am curious how often this happens.

I changed my Nova over to the Limbsaver and never had a problem.. Wonder of they are a bit different as the Nova's was an extremely tight fit and tough to get off...

Lost mine once...but it was my fault...gun was in the layout unloaded I went out to pick up a couple birds and tripped getting back in the layout. Fell with my knee right acroos the stock. All the force was on the pad and it popped off...
One reason I will always leave my gun empty if Im not in the blind.
