received an email, tried to share, but it didn't come thru. It was a fishing story. Pics are in my gallery. A couple of guys showing pic's of a deer in off shore water, they pluck it up into their boat, take some pics and let it go when they reached shore.

While vacationing on Vancouver Island I learned that some of the little islands around Nootka sound and other places had Deer, Elk and Bear on them. The locals told me that it was not uncommon to see these animals swimming in the Salt.....some places over a mile wide.

Cool story though....
