Animal abuse
This I don't get? They say people like this could turn into serial killers. I wish vigilante justice was an acceptable part of society.

It may not be "acceptable",but if I had wittnessed that myself his fate may have turned out abit less fortunate then the dogs, his landing may have been a little harder.Read it in the paper this morning at work, made me sick.

He looks like a prime candidate to spend his life in and out of the Big House.
I've heard that they can give flying lessons there, too.

Slow torture over many days is too good for people like that ...
But ... Worth a try ...

Re: Animal abuse
This is the kinda of crap that gets under my skin...It takes a low life scum to abuse animals....I don't take animal abuse lightly and if I witness it, it turns into human abuse....If it excites you or makes you feel powerful to abuse a helpless animal, go check into a mental hospital or come talk to me! ....I hope that kid gets what he deserves....
Nuff said from me...

Re: Animal abuse
I dont understand how or why people can do that and sleep at night. it's just not right.
what is are society doing to people to make them so angry and violent. what can we do?
Do you see this in people close to you? can you ask them what is wrong? why do you feel this way? can I help? do you wont too talk?lets go too the river and fish a while.
Do you think it would make a difference? everyone has a story. I would like to hear his story. I bet I would be angry too. I bet most of us cant even fathom it. but it still dont make it right. what a shame for the dog, society and a kid that has to go threw life so angry to take it out on a Innocent dog. ........................
I think Ill take a kid fishing.
do you think it will make a difrence?

There must be an underline Mental disorder. He claimed he couldn't remember. The boys needs some serious help.

Re: Animal abuse
Its hard to comprehend, what would possess someone to do something like that. Hopefully his cellmate is 6'9" 285lbs, loves dogs more than people, and is in for life for beating an animal abuser to death.

Re: Animal abuse
Not to defend anyone:
Perhaps he was raised in a disfunctional family situation, Father beat him.
Kids taunted him at school. He's lived a miserable existance and doesn't have scrupples about what's right and what's wrong. As I said above there is a deep underlined Mental problem with this boy and he desperatly needs help...
I don't know him, therefore: I cannot judge him. Obviously what he did was WRONG......
I think we have all crossed paths with these kinds of people.

Re: Animal abuse
I suppose being a neglected youth gives one an excuse to harm an animal that was obviously scared to go up some stairs and cross an elevated walkway? I don't think so.
My lab has issues with crossing grated walkways over high places or water. I understand this and don't fault him for that. I help him through his uneasiness.
My childhood was spent being taunted by schoolmates, my father was emotionally abusive and sometimes physically abusive and I turned out alright. He said he didn't remember what happened. My belief is that he wasn't man enough to fess up and say he wrong for what he did. The underlying mental issues with this young man are indeed deep and he needs to be punished for what he's done in a matter that HE can understand.
I do judge a person when their actions show what they are capable of. I hope he finds a suitable spot in Hell when his time comes.

Re: Animal abuse
My significant other caught me yelling at the TV when that news story ran. . It makes my blood boil to hear of these senseless acts.
How much hate, disgust and self loathing must a person have to act out and intentionally destroy someone's pet? I can't imagine or comprehend this.
I feel so sad for that young kid - he's obviously not right in the head. I feel even worse for the dog.

Re: Animal abuse
The only "talking" that should have been done with this guy by any eyewitnesses is ,
"Come here boy! You wanna practice falling down and getting back up before we begin?!"
We've obviously gotten too soft as a society if there are eyewitnesses and this guy walked away from doing something like that!

Re: Animal abuse
Unfortunatly, when it comes to animals..we dont treat the abusers as though they did anything too terrible.
I agree that this shows a far more deep rooted problem.
I am amazed that the people who were keeping Snowball are trying to sue the state also.
They attempted to breed her many times and she miscarried many times. That is abuse.
Just because the state didn't charge them, they now think they are victims? People are sometimes very un realistic.
The state will now have to bring everything they did out in the open.
They were attempting to start their own illegal deer farm, IMO.

Re: Animal abuse
I could hardly stand to continue reading that. What a sweet dog! It is easy to say that that individual needs a beat down but I bet he has had a few already and is probably in for a few more. What a spineless, sick, pathetic excuse for a human.

Re: Animal abuse
AUP asks us to not suggest illegal activities, right?
I have great pity for a person that has so much frustration and internalized anger that they need to act out against any living thing. It must be hell living in their skin.
