Carhartts
In my quest to spend more time outdoors this year, I need to upgrade my outdoor clothes. Looking to purchase some Carhartt pants and jackets. I've looked around at Joes and Fisherman's. Are there any other places around the PDX area that has better prices or selections?
THANKS!

Re: Carhartts
It's probably a bit out of the way, but Dennis Company in Long Beach has a good selection.

Re: Carhartts
If you look around, there are great deals going on all the time. I have bought my supply from Wilco, Joes, and Sportsmans Warehouse. Cabelas for some reason in Lacey, sucked at selection.
Don't buy online, shipping and prices make it not a good deal.

You might try Sears. I have always bought mine there and they have good prices. They always have sales with 25% off and stuff

Re: Carhartts
I like to stop in Astoria at a place: I think it is called M & M or M & N (right before you get to that 4.1 mile long bridge that goes to the other side of the world! They have a good selection and they have a dog in the store. For some reason, I like shopping in places that let the dog stay at work with them all day. Must be good people!

Re: Carhartts
I don't know where you're located, but there's a boot & shoe Outfitter in Aloha that's going out of business. Heckuva deal on carhartts in stock... if he hasn't closed up shop yet. Of course depending on your size...
On TV HWY just East of 185th on the north side of the road next to the Franz thrift store.

Re: Carhartts
If you're looking for pants I would look at Riggs which are made by Wrangler. I think they have a looser fit for better mobility. I've switched to those instead of Carharrt, at least for pants.

Re: Carhartts
Coastal Farm puts them on sale about every other month. I've been buying them there for years and the store in Albany has a great selection. I don't know about the other stores.

Re: Carhartts
True Value in Scappoose had a really good selection. Fred Meyer also carries some of the line.
