Default Any good bank access on the lower Siletz?

Just wondering if anybody knows of a good spot or knows someone who will allow some fishing from their property in the lower 8 miles of the Siletz river. Don't have a boat but would love to go after them.

Thanks.

I've fished the Siletz for most of my life, and I can count on 1 hand the number of times I have seen people fishing form the bank. I have only seen 1 or 2 fish caught from any thing but a boat. Those were both caught off the dock at Coyote Rock, throwing spinners. I would say there is little or no bank access in the lower 1o-15 miles of tidewater. Your best bet would be to rent a boat at Siletz Moorage and go from there. It is not a bankie friendly river, sorry to say!

Right above the 101 bridge just past Siletz moorage people bank fish with spinners and bobbers. This is a small spot next to the road with parking accross the road.

Good luck if you go,

Gregg
