My brothers dog got parvo. At least I'm pretty sure it was parvo. I better call him and make sure.
Amazingly she lived through it and now has to take anti-seizure meds. She's been taking them for I don't know how many years now. The vet has done several studies to figure out why she lived through the disease and how come her kidneys haven't shut down from the meds.
Make sure you vaccinate all your current animals and any future ones. I'm pretty sure it's one of those diseases that once it's on your place it's in the ground and sticks around for a long time.
I've seen alot of pups with it. Pretty sad disease. They just kind of sit there in a daze not eating or drinking.
I don't like to kill furry critters (only finned ones) but I ended up putting some pups out of their misery for some people I knew. Once I seen the shape they were in, it made it easier.

When my puppy got it, it was back when it was not as well known. Now they routinely vaccinate for it.
My puppy had "All" it's shots.
That was in the 70s.
Sinker is regarding my front page writing.
My new kitty has "all" it's shots too. But he caught whatever this illness was anyway. I forget the name of it. But he's OK now!
