I'm looking for two small outboard motors between 3 and 7 horsepower to power a couple of layout boats. Please pm me if you have any ideas.

Have you thought about using an electric motor instead. Might get a little cramped having gas tank. Battery is smaller than gas tank and it would be quieter.

Several brands have small motors with fuel tanks incorporated. This saves you having a tank or battery in the boat. They swivel 360 degrees so you don't need reverse. Neutral is a real plus for the tricky/tight spots where you want to stop the prop but not the motor.
If you have the big bucks, Honda makes a sweet little four stroke. You can carry a 1 qt camp fuel bottle as a reserve. That will last an hour easy in the Honda.
