Default Snagging ?

If you can see Fall Chinook should you be casting at them ?
If fish are spawning can you cast at them without fear of getting a ticket ? I think not in Oregon if the law is applied.YOUR THOUGHTS HERE !

If you see a bright chinook my al means make a few casts. If he is not interested move on.. There are no circum stances in which anglers should knowingly be fishing over bedding fish.

IF there is a chrome bright laying there and you see it you should be able to tell after a couple of casts wheather or not its interested. If it is dark don't bother. I got a friend that when drifting the Kalama likes to run a Hot 'N Tot by the beds and it really ticks the salmon off. It's kind of annoying when your trying to catch nice fish and he's out playing with old darkies.

Weather it is right or wrong that is up to you. In Oregon it is legal to "technique" or "line" a fish. The only thing that matters is if the fish is hooked in the mouth. If you can cast and get the hook to drift into the fishes mouth and hook it its a legally caught fish. Now with that said. It is up to you to decide if this is right or wrong, but it is legal.
