I don't think anyone has a chance against NE, but the Pack could probably come closer than anybody else.

NE could lose if the whole team comes down with food poisoning on the day of the Super Bowl.
Or if they get the date wrong and show up a week late.

I was raised in the NE during the long drought (Bosox and Pats).
They were the little dogs for many, many years.
My little sis (very conservative) wrote me from Cape Cod telling how she was settlin' in to watch the "Lightning Bolts" get a good, olde fashioned ass whoopin'.

They're all going nuts back there and I can't blame 'em.

Ummm Indy is in the AFC....who would have thought that the younger Manning would make it to the big show this year. Could brothers win the super bowl in back to back years? Stay tuned......

Sorry, didn't mean this year, just that both Manning boys will have gone to the big dance.

I don't think that the ratings will tank because GB didn't make it.
They will still be able to hype the Pat's "perfect season" scenario and the NYG's unlikely (and historical) campaign that ended as NFC champion.

Also these teams faced off in week 17 and should know each other's weaknesses and how to attack them.

I want the Pat's to blow them out. I am one of the few people who likes to see a team dominate. Hate them if you want to, but I think Tom Brady and Belichik are class acts and they sure know how to win games. I just like the dominance.

I wish they both would loose. Knowing that's not possible, I think I'll try and be gone fishing or something. Was hoping for a Packer/Charger, or Packer/Pats superbowl. Tired of watching the Pats every year. I think Eli will put his team in a hole early and they will be there all day long.

just like the nfc championship game i like to see the teams in the big crunch time. makes it more interesting than even a last second score. this also acts as a hope it isn't another blowout game.

As a Bolts fan, no love for the Mannings esp. the old man. Can't pull for the patsys too many bad vibes btwn the teams. Best case scenario they both lose & that isn't gonna happen. I'll probably go fishing & forget the whole thing.

Hate both the teams....Green Bay losing kind of took the interest out of it for me. I'll have to root for The Giants to spoil the cheating Pats (*) I guess.

I fall into the weird group of guys who couldn't give a rip about any pro-sports. I don't have that gene I guess. I would much rather watch The Bucks of Tecomate or the F&S Total Outdoorsman Challenge than sit courtside or on the 50 yard line.

I will be diving into the pile o' hot wings and watch the innovative commercial during the upcoming superbowl, though.
