Re: ANTI-Banana Society
Good job Jan!!! We're you eating bananas while hooking the biggest fish? I know others that can catch fish with bananas in the boat... David Johnson.

Nook
No I don't have a boat yet. Don't take nanners with me fishing either . But it don't make no difference when you can't catch fish anyway. Still have that virgin tag.

Re: ANTI-Banana Society
Be careful Real FishinMission, I have found out the hard way that the only thing unluckier than bannanas is talking a bunch of smack about your fishing success.
Be humble. It pays at the Karma bank.

Re: ANTI-Banana Society
Threemuch....
First off..I don't get fish every trip..
Secondly...I put in alot more time than most...have for 15 years.
Trust me...bananas are not unlucky for me or my boat.Maybe they are for you.
Are you offended that we catch alot of fish in my boat?? Hope not.
You do your thing...I'll do mine.
And I'll continue to bring bananas for snacks.
Karma Bank??? LOL

Re: ANTI-Banana Society
My bad Mark, I started this ridiculous post.
Was just funnin' around. Bananas have been bad juju for ME ONLY, for many years. For you, they are not. So what, I'll keep fishing, bananas or no bananas. Just a mental thing, no doubt. Will quit this funnin' around though. Don't want anyone thinking I am serious.
Threemuch, Mark is humble. He's just a good fisherman, who hits it hard, like he said. Damn we all are. Puck the ego trip stuff anyway. The most, the best, the biggest, who knows more, who is massa fisherman, all that BS. It does not matter.
Especially now days.

Re: ANTI-Banana Society
Threemuch...you just gotta know I wasn't ribbing ******...we were just having fun. He's "anti Banana"..I'm "pro banana". We've been fishing together pretty regularly since we met. Also the 37 pounder I spoke of earlier came to the boat under ******'s guidance and skill. All in fun here. K.??

Re: ANTI-Banana Society
It's all good. I was just expressing that I was firmly in Nanooks camp on this one, and wanted to join in the fun. I fish hard too, and I like to think I catch my share or maybe a little more. I always try to be happy for more successful fisherman, even if I sometimes get a little green (with envy, not seasickness).
I think that the two worst things for fishing success are BANNANAS and BRAGGING. At least for me!
And don't sweat any explainations on me, guys, I got's the thick skin.
I used to tell everyone who came aboard my boat that fishin' is all about ridicule, and if you can't handle a little ribbin when you backlash on a cast, or farm a good fish, or just do something dopey, you better not go with.

Re: ANTI-Banana Society
It's OK. I hired Osama Bin NoNana (above) to take out all the trees. He accepted, but told me the position would have to be very temporary. He said something about going on a long voyage real soon. LOL.
