Default Bonneville on Sunday.

Spent a relaxing day after getting worked in Tillamook. Got one on a quickfish and lost another on eggs. Much more enjoyable place to fish at this point. I haven't really fished this fishery for fall salmon before. Can anyone tell me if the season is almost over or if I can expect more good fishing ahead.

Based on the number of fish going over the dam, the run is tapering off. At it's height there were tens of thousands a day and now it's down to a little over a thousand a day. But when the numbers were up, there was very little biting ... the improved bite may compensate for reduced numbers for a little while. ...and it was nice to meet you and see your beautiful sled Saturday, even if you did battle the elements.
