Legal Snagging?????????

I was listening to a couple of dudes today talking about something pertaining to legal snagging on the Clackamas. Something to the effect of opening the river from River-mill to Eagle Creek to snagging starting this week . It seems odd to me, Does anyone know more about this or is this a nasty rumor. Myself and two other boats had to leave ,listening to these two talking about how excited they were about all the hens they could snag "Legally" got to be too much. It smelled fouler than the Cow-Sh*t. I am curious to know...........

You could check ODFW's webpage. But you don't have to, I can tell you. There is no ******** way snagging has been legalized on Eagle Creek, Dumbass Creek, Redneck Creek, or anywhere else in Oregon. Anyone who says so is just trying to get his buddies to go along with him. They are idiots. Get their plate number, just in case.

kinda what I thought......what a bunch of idiots. Oh well, When they asked if we had caught any fish we said nada.........as we floated by with fish in the box with hooks clear down their throats. Funny thing is they were fishing on the bottom where everyone else was bobber fishing.......... [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img] Put 2 and 2 together and what do you get. Thanks~~John

FM, You did'nt say what river you were on. It sounded like you were on the Clack but I bet you were'nt. Just curious. [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img] I've also heard that rumor. Its usually from someone who does'nt get on the river alot. Turn those guys in when they start snagging!!!!!!!!!!! It's right next to Dumbass Creek, in between Sixtoe Ridge and ******* Gully.
