Default Washington guys have shown class!

I feel compelled to mention that after all the trash talkin on here a few weeks ago, about the Beavers high pre-season rankings and how they were going to tear up the Dawgs, that our WA guys on here haven't put the shame to us in posts. Us OR guys weren't so easy on 'em when the Ducks got by the Dawgs last fall. Just wanted to say 'way to show some class' Dawg fans.

But there is still some dirty work that needs to be done, so I guess I will volunteeer to do it. ... Someone has to mention a little something - YOU STINKING BEAVERS ARE AN EMBARASSMENT! Down 31 to zip to the Cougs in the early going?!? Win 1 of 4 so far? Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. What do ya have in store for us next? The Washington game in Corvallis is meaningless now - and it could have been so much fun to watch. How could so many experts voting in the natrional polls be so wrong and Dan S and boys be so right? My hats off to you guys. Go Dawgs and Ducks.

Yup, RT, it must be really embarrasing for the Beavs to get beat by the SECOND-best team in Washington.

Yup, we DO have class up here and I'm sure NONE of us will mention your sorrow during Floatilla III ( supressed chuckle here )

Can't wait to see how you Oregon folks handle the Silver-slaying on the Satsop.

I'm not saying a word. The Dawgs have managed to keep winning, but I wish I wouldn't have to wait for a comeback every week.

The Ducks have also looked solid this year, and OSU is merely missing the defensive speed they had last year.

I think maybe we'd all better look out for the Cougs. After last season, I never thought I'd be saying THAT!

Ah geez Doug, ya went and ruined a Kodak moment. Hey, I'm not new to the crow menu. I can eat the stuff when I deserve it. In fact, when one talks enough trash it's inevitable to have to get the knife and fork out sooner or later. I could use a new menu though. Os? Dan? You guys have eaten plenty of crow. Any new recipe ideas?

Oh, I've eaten some crow, and let me tell ya......there is no way to make it taste any better. I've been fed crow by Cougs, Ducks, and other assorted fans, but I've also served some up myself.

It's much nicer to serve crow than it is to be served.

Crow, and I've eaten plenty, tastes a lot like Spotted Owl when served properly.

A good amber ale is required for proper digestion. Full Sail Amber anyone?

'Yall, Joey Hiesman (Harrington) is having a prety good season - including some clutch comeback drives for wins; just like Elway used to do.

As for the crow eating thang; I got an e-mail from a guy that says it tastes very close to bald eagle - he says he eats both - and to just drown it in soy sauce and ketchup. Some people take things a bit to literally, ya know!

Being a Dawg from the class of '88, I thought it would be nice for me to give RT the site where he could find recipes for crow. I can't decide between the crow kabobs, crow in a blanket, or the crow creole.

Crow page.

(If you want some interesting reading, check out the hate mail that they post here. They sort it by severity.)

I hear that most recipes for crow works just as well for Beavers and Ducks.

Sorry Steve, couldn't help myself That crow site was pretty cool. The "hate" mail was really something.

Still though, does anyone have a smaller scale pic of the Heisman candidate that was posted in Times Square? What school was it that spent all the money on that..........

It's all a matter of expectations. Why, I remember the good old days, when Wilhelm and Chafey and Phil Ross were our stars. Heck, we were so happy with wins we ripped the posts down every time (that would be like 4 times, I think, maybe 3, could have been 2 though......).

Shorthorns they was.....or longhorns........

sorta...medium sized horns??

You 'spose the Oregon folks could use some Beav-n-Duck Helper, too?

They'll be eating plenty after Flotilla III!!
