Where are the best places to sell a rod?

I am trying to sell a rod I have. I used the classifieds on the ifish page and have not had one hit. Are there places in Portland that buy rods? What are some less expensive ways to sell. I had an ebay account at one time but forgot all the info I need. What would you reccomend??

eBay is the way to go. I have sold a number of rods for good value and never a return. With buyer paying shipping cost, it's a good deal. It's easy to reinstate or update your eBay account. Do a search for you rod or similar to know what to expect as auction price for your rod.

You can sell trash on eBay, and get good bucks for it. I have made some good money selling on eBay. Cars, Trucks, Ultralight aircraft engines, High end R/C (radio control) toys, fishing gear, camping gear, you name it & it sells. And the best part is it sells for top dollar as a genral rule.

Yeah, I echo others' suggestions to go with eBay. If you have a brand name item, it will fetch a lot more dough than you will here. You can go there and do a search and see what your item went for by doing an "Advanced Search."
