Hey Mark, your destination is a decent call. What is quite debatable is your call of who you are taking in your boat. jk of course. Hope you guys get into the some big hogs. Catch one in honor of my tailbone (it looks like a fishhook right now - Stew will explain).

Got fish on Friday (4) but Saturday was dead, at least where we were in lower TW.

It was bumpy and getting worse all day. Expect a strong wind and a closed bar. Very few fish caught today. Best bite was a scattered bite out side ... a few caught down the middle of the jaws and a couple at the Ghost. Think upper bay ... oops, you already were, weren't you?

LOts of grass Saturday, and no fish. We saw 6 fish caught all day for about 200 + boats. I am sure it will get better... but when?

That is why you always put the crabtraps in. Came home with a nice crabby bonus.

Thanks to everyone who noticed my new IFISH stickers on Saturday. Wow, if it wasn't grass it was jelly fish. That was very tough fishing Saturday. I spent most of the day taking water over the bow outside and only one long release to show for it. Hopefully this rain brings the rivers up and washes out the bay. Nice to meet you Pete.

Saturday, couldn't go. But we did go to the Oyster house on sunday from daybreak to around 2pm. Only saw three caught and heard of a fourth. Two of those were let go. From 100ft away the fish looked dark. Either it was the lack of sunlight or could they have been chums?

No Floater, those were dark chinook, possibly silvers. A number of fish in the upper bay are early returners that have turned color. Red on the belly, dark sides, some males have a small red strip. I know I'd rather keep chromers or nothing at all.

What boat were you in on Sunday? I was there in a red Boulton open sled. Next time say hi.

Gregg

Early returners? Do you mean those that made it up river already and are returning to the bay?
And if they are returning down river, what the Heck are they doing biting anything, especially when the incoming fish won't bite a darn thing???? The fish finder said I had a lot of torpedos under the boat but no hits.

Blue Starcraft w/center console. I need to order my stickers from Jen still. I didn't see anyone with stickers Sunday, just Master Baiters boat.

Floater...Hookset is referring to fish that have been holding in lower tidewater or in the upper bay waiting for the rain or whatever.

Those torpedoes you saw were most likely coho, as we observed lots of them still passing thru. I think I remember seeing you down there, if not yesterday....last week.

Ya can't miss MY boat!!

Keep at it down there...

Mark

Oh great, keep us in suspense Mark. You must have been one of the few from what I saw. Were you out Sunday. I didn't see your boat, which means you were fishing the lower bay, jetty or ocean. Hmmmmmmm, have you got a story to share? I did hear a rumor, and it was a good one.

Floater, I remember seeing a blue starcraft with center console, you had a soft top laid down right? Two orange or red stripes down the middle of the side?

Confess Markie, you'll feel better for it, promise.
