Default Camping

I'm sure most of you saw my other post on Wallowa Lake. I really would like to know what your favorite place to camp is. Also could you please include if you RV it Tent it or rent a yurt. Also can we try to keep it in Oregon . I am a little excited to go camping and trying to get stuff together for the summer as I see stuff filling up already YIKES! So im trying to get on it now.

Thanks,
Mitch

Anywhere in the mountains where there is a lack of people. I'd prefer the solitude.

Go at least three hours away from Portland, otherwise you might as well camp in your front yard

High desert, Find rought dirt road, drive another few hours... park rig When lost. Your in camp!!.. Toss out Cot, Chair.. grab cooler, grab cold shaken beer. Feet on cooler sit back & relax & enjoy the view of NO man made objects for miles Or human sounds.

Night time star watching.. WOW..

I carry 5 gallons of water but with three dogs, I prefer to set up camp near a stream of some sort. Drive to the middle of nowhere, hang a right (or a left, whichever you prefer) and drive another 10 miles or so, then look for a good place to pitch a tent with water nearby.
