Maybe some day I can add something meaningfull. Ha,Ha,Ha,Ho,Ho,He,He,He....Poor fish, poor, poor, fish, AHH,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA! I can't stop laughing, Sheesh!

Now I get it. I've tried and tried to figure out this PETA thing. Check out the address on their site. Norfolk, Va.

This is the place that once had signs on lawns 'Sailors and Dogs keep off the grass'.

Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson and other enlightened religious leaders also hail from that area. There's nothing wrong with Televangelists, I just choose not to watch them on TV. They same way they choose not to pick up a copy of Playboy and read it at the 7-11. And going even further, these same exalted figures pressured Southland Co. (based in Virginia) into not selling adult oriented material in many deep south communities at 7-11. It may still be that hunting is illegal in Virginia on Sunday due to the 18th century Blue Laws still in effect there. Sales of alcohol were and probably still are restricted on Sunday as well. Imagine that in a busy Navy town.

The internet provides such a complete disconnect from important social cues. You cannot tell where someone you are reading is from. Where you live and grew up has a huge impact on your beliefs and what you think is acceptable behavior.

So with that in mind realize that the tradition of forcing your moral viewpoint on others is deeply rooted in that part of the country. If the PETA folks want to eat vegetables and not fish, they can feel free to do that ... don't bother updating me, I'll check in if I need to..... When they try to tell me to eat vegetables and stop fishing they can kiss my @$$.

Just my $0.02

HEY DUDES! No bashing of PETA allowed! It just so happens that I am a participating member of P.E.T.A. (People for Eating Tasty Animals)

Seriously, that thing about the Boy Scout Leader eliminating the fishing merit badge for his group really burns my a$$! Fishing has GOT to be the best possible hobby/influence that you could get a boy involved in.........

Dang! I didn't know they counted hits as support. By the way, the "Scout Leader" they quoted wasn't an adult, it was a 15 year old kid who probably got talked into it by his girlfriend. At that age, they'll do anything for their girlfriend. When I was that age, I thought the best part about being in the Boy Scouts was getting to go fishing!

Those PETA types must either ALL be vegetarians or know ZERO about meat processing plants. (You know, the place where they slash the throats of beef as they pass by hanging assembly line style.)

You can't eat fish all the time.

Why don't those people go bother the NRA for killing mammals with legs?

Just remember, before you go there, they are counting hits and count that as support.
Bill Monroe mentioned to me before, when we found this a year or more back, that we shouldn't justify the site with hits.
I agree.
