Default Merc spark plug replacement?

I have small jetsled with 1998 motors. A 6hp and 50hp two cycle mercury motors. I mix my fuel and both run great. I noticed the 6hp running a little sluggish during the throttle up, at the end of yesterdays fishing trip. It's been about 8 trips since I changed the spark plugs so I replaced them today. My question: Should I just throw the old ones away or can I clean them up as new and then reuse them?

Although the 50hp runs very good, sometimes I think??? I hear a missfire. I'm new to running a jetsled and am not sure if what I'm hearing is normal. I always did think these two stroke mercs sound odd, reminds me of the old yamaha two stroke motorcycles.

Again to reuse or discard the used sparkplugs?

Thanks in advance.

Les
