Re: AR Pistols
THEY'RE LOUD!!
With a little practice, offhand with the K23P, hittin claypigons(on the ground) @ 50 yards is no problem.
Go for it , it's just another gun!
Did I say it was LOUD!

Re: AR Pistols
My big brother has one. A Bushmaster Carbon.....It's a kick and is danged accurate out to over 75 yds with a holographic sight. It's a kick to play with but give my my varmiter any day.

Re: AR Pistols
Oh sure I've been tempted....but in reality, they provide no legitimate use.
Waste of money if you ask me.....you did ask right?
but as with most useless toys, that shouldn't stop us from having a little fun.
But part of me would think a compact carbine would be just as much fun and useful at the same time.
Or maybe if you REALLY have money to burn, look into a FA 9mm MP5....now THAT would be fun!!

Re: AR Pistols
I have two a 7.5 and a 10.5 Rock River. Added the Rock River match trigger to both and have Eotech on top. There are both very accurate the 7.5 will do 1.5" at 100 yards the 10.5 closer to 1" at 100 yards. Great toys to shoot. I would highly recommend the Rock River factory pistols.

Re: AR Pistols
Thanks for the input. I was very interested in the accuracy of the 7.5" and it sounds like it can be pretty good. I have a 24" tack driver AR and was looking for a new one with "no legitimate use" Except as fodder for a future SBR .

They do have a legitimate use.....you can hunt deer with them in Oregon, (NOT THAT I WOULD!!!!!!!)....I called the OSP on the magazine capasity being legal. Yep....30 round magazine capasity is not mentioned for pistol hunting anywhere in the regs.

Re: AR Pistols
I guess it depends on if you take "legitimate", literally or figuratively....
I don't own one either...legally it's OK, but ethicly....I ain't so sure . If I was going to pistol hunt there are sure much better choices.
