Default A morning to be out! Why am I working?

It has been my experience over several years that incredible sunrises equate to good fishing on the Willamette.

Check out the Garbage Hole this morning!

Dang!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, Off to work I go...

PS - I have not seen a boat with two fish on already this morning up there. Really. I haven't.

Because there are no fish in the Willamette.

Why don't you tell your boss you're sick, or do you not like talking to yourself

I'm right there with you. I was supposed to have the day off and go fishing with a couple of good friends. Instead, I'm sitting here in my office reading Ifish while I'm vaguely tuned in to a conference call with our European Headquarters...

I'm sure my friends, who started the springer hunt about an hour and a half ago already have fish in the cooler.

Right now we can fish through pictures and dream how it will be when we get there.

I am gonna venture forth tomorrow with my son (6) who has been bugging me we havent fished together in forever.

He got the game battleship for X-mas which has been fun playing with him. I think while we sit on the hook tomorrow soaking bait we will be sinking each others boats. I hope the real boat dont take a hit

Springer would be a plus, but not necessary. Might take him to the gun range in the afternoon I am looking forward to tomorrow.

Roy That sounds like a perfect morning and afternoon. I hope that the evening is scheduled for mama and daddy.

Did you get the new ride? what did you get?

A friend of mine has used up all of his sick leave days and personal days so he's calling in dead.

I thought the same thing this morning. I looked outside and the sky was a brilliant (steelhead) pink. It took me a (pre-coffee) minute to realize that was the sunrise. What a nice beginning to the day! I just sat there and watched it change colors. Yep, I was late for work.
