Default Got a Palm Pilot or Visor? Have I got something for you...............

I have had this for awhile and it is a nifty little program. It is a tide chart that goes on your PDA. It is good out to like 2033 or something ridiculous like that.
It is adjustable to just about anywhere in the world so if you want to know when slack tide is in Spain when your eatin' yer feesh sangwich at McDucks you can punch it right up.
They don't gaurantee their accuracy but from what I have seen it is pretty darn close. If anyone is interested let me know and I will post the website. It is freeware so there are no copyright issues to deal with.

Sorry for the delay. Here is the webpage I promised. If you cannot get the download just drop me a line and I will email the program to you.
www.toolworks.com/bilofsky/download.htm

I would like to know what everyone thinks of this tool. How accurate it is and such.

Tight lines everyone!

Not sure if that link is for the newest version but the one i have from the same guy, lets you download more accurate tides for an area like the west coast for the entire year, it doesnt take up that much space, and they match the yearly tide books exactly, without having to do the conversions. i will look for the link to see if it is a newer version...never mind yeah that is the new one. works great i use it every time i go diving or fishing on the oregon coast and it seems to be right on, the graph is really helpfull because if your like most people on this board you probably dont know how to tell time , and that way you can just look at the pictures

I have a basic Visor, about a year old. Will this run without an additional memory card or other module?

Thanks

I run this program on a Palm M100 which is the most basic model they make. This program only needs 197K of space to run so it is a very small program and should operate on about anything.

I downloaded the program and installed it on my Palm V. Looks like a great program for tides, sunrise / sunset, moonrise / moonset, and moon phases. Also looks like it includes current predictions.
Thanks Slow Roll.

Does this program calculate tides for the Columbia upstream from Astoria?
