Default you will be missed asa bear

so just needed to get this off my chest . asa is my dog and my best friend . asa passed away on saturday morning at around 3:30 am after a 6month battle with cancer . i dont even know how to express the feelings i have right now . you will always be in my heart and will never be forgotten he was a young 9 and besides the cancer everything else was fine . he was a happy dog till the day he passed . he is by far the best dog i have ever had . it is funny how routine we all get with everything . when i get home i still go to the door to let him in . about half way there i remember and suddenly get sad . thinking i here his little noises in the middle of the night of him rolling over . ..where is the box of tissues ? to wrap this up . asa i love you . you were like a son to me . you will be missed by everyone who knew you . good by

Man, there is too much of this going around this year already. Sorry to hear about your buddy. Hang in there, it's never easy but it does get easier.

Really sorry.... he still looks great in the December pics, I'm sure he had a great life with you.

We're at the same place with our older shepherd...really put a shadow on the holidays.

It's tough.

Peace.

Sorry for your loss. I understand a bit of what you’re going through. Two years ago we had exactly the same thing happen. Ten year old Lab, six months of doggie hospice, and then she was gone. We’re now a year and a half into our new girl who’s totally captured our hearts…again!

Hang in there!

I lost my Golden Retriever of 7 years this last summer. The greatest friend I have ever had. I know your feelings. He had Lymphoma. I just remember how happy is was during his life.

Take care

It will be three years since my buddy, Romeo, passed on. I sit here with tears in my eyes for you, asa bear, & Romeo. We got another dog and that helped but you never can replace them.

My vet said to me when he went, " the price of love is sorrow. Never feeling sorrow is to have never loved. Asa Bear was loved!"

I still feel sad when I look out the window at his grave....

My condolences. Only one treatment for your pain, and it has soft ears and sweet breath.

That's the deal, unconditional love for 10-15 years if you are lucky, then a hole in your heart that you can't ever fill back up.

9 is too soon to lose a good one. Sorry for your loss.

Shoot....I hate hearing about things like this. I remember my dog Ginger from when I was a teenager many years ago, and reading your post brought tears to my eyes. No amount of words will help ease the pain, just time. Sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry. Ah, crud.

What can anyone say? There are no words.

He sure looks like the luckiest dog in the world, and I bet he thought you were the best friend he'd ever had, too.

Hugs, my friend. I'm so sorry.

Look at that wonderful kissing spot by his eye, there.

Some dogs walk through your life and others leave footprints on your heart. Sounds like this Asa did that. Sorry for your loss.
