Default Archer bars

I've had a bunch of folks asking about the spreader bars off line and wanted to make life a little easier for those trying to purchase them.

Fred is making up a bunch of bars that work well up here and I'll have them at the Sportsmen Show.

Again, I have no financial interest or gain in any of this.

I'm coming up for a B-day party on the 26th, if you want to hook up (assuming I have the bars by then).

Where can I find the price list? and which bars are you planning on getting?

Why aren't you trying to make some dough off this? Isn't that the name of the game?

Bud would you put my name on 4 please. Let me know how much and where to get them at the show. I'm assuming these will be already rigged?

They will be individually packaged with a single, rigged chase bait. We'll have a full assortment of the small stuff that works up here...and a few of the bigger bars that might as well, but are known to produce down south.

Salmon dredge style bars that Matt in Noyo has had great luck with. Matt caught a bunch of salmon on the new Spiders.

This is how we used the Spiders for salmon

Sinker release attached to Big Als Flasher attached to Archer's Spider. You dont need the sinker release if you have a downrigger. Almost any lure works behind this setup.

Vulpinus - How deep were you fishing that rig? Were you fishing for silvers? Is that an WA, OR, or CA fish?

We'll have 325 Archer Bars to chose from with most sold in sets of two. Packaged for our fish with the colors that have worked the best.

Bars suited for Cabo and the like will be in limited supply...not thinking many up here would be in the market for them.

The bars range from $40 to $80 each with discounts for multiple set purchases.

They will be availabe at the Sportsmen show from 5-9 each day.

Ifish...will do something for the board in return for your kindness.

If I missed this, please forgive me...What booth number are you going to be in?

I will have my 6 year old with me, so seeing the entire show is not possible, so I have to pre-plan how I am going to hit the place.

Sorry...can't ask the folks working the booth with me to deal with these and I can't quit my day job to sell spreader bars.

However, I was thinking a TA style ARCHER BAR BAR NIGHT at the Lucky Lab and we get Fred to buy the first 20 pitchers or something like that.

The Archer Bar Bar Night has been approved by Fred. It's not like we needed another excuse to get together to talk tuna, drink beer and look at new gear.

But...why not right?

I propose the 19th or the 27th! (Figure I might as well propose dates when I'll actually be in town!)

Nope, I always go to class with a beer on board ;-) How do you think I amuse myself? I did rank the 2/27 (Wed) first though...gees, I'm glad you weren't my little brother.

Now I'll up the ante...I'll buy the first 4 pitchers of beer on 2/27, but I won't let Mike have any. Not a drop.

My apologies to Jen and Dave for not getting permission to start this thread...it put them in a tough spot and that's not fair. Thank you for dealing with the complaints and keeping it up for the Dogs.

Now back to Beer and Bars, free beer and not-so-free spreader bars at the Lucky Lab on the 27th.

Let's do this!

Thank you Jen & Dave..., I can buy beer and spreaders

Big Dan...Fred saw your post and it fired him up! He is giving you copies of his two new books that just came out.

Your positive attitude pays off!

The bars arrived over the weekend...like being a kid in the candy store.

Archer Bar Night February 27 at the Lucky Lab...just a reminder.

Lots of bars and lots of beer...hard to go wrong with that.

Do we need to just show up or do you want an order ahead of time?

Any specific time? I work downtown, but tend to get off mid-afternoon... just wondering if I should run home first...

Thanks for hooking this up!
