Alsea river, fishing report
Two thumbs up to my fishing partners for getting us three fish on Monday! We fished down in tidewater for the day, covering quite a bit of water. The pressure was not bad and we saw consistent action in the mid-morning. There was no action in the afternoon that I recall seeing.
The rig of choice was cut-plug with beads and blade including a dodger. All three fish were taken with the same rod which was frustrating for those of us that had NO action!!!!! Somedays you are the bug, and somedays the windshield. RW

Re: Alsea river, fishing report
Agree with Th, sharing the wealth on the boat helps everyone, specially with fall salmon when bites can be few and far between. Hope you got your fish RW. You must be low on the river trolling herring.
Thanks for the report,
Gregg

Three guys...three fish.. seems to me that everyone in the boat should have got to land a fish regardless of whos rod it was hooked on... you need to share the wealth ! Or find different fishing buddies...

Re: Alsea river, fishing report
I have great fishing buddies that shared the fight along with the fish, I landed one of the fish. (Hey guys, how are the twins? ) We caught a lot of salmon and had a great time, we were the hot boat on the river.
Hey BOE, my bite is worse than my buzz though!!!! If we can't make fun of ourselves, who can we make fun of? RW

Re: Alsea river, fishing report
RW, thanks for pointing out the fact that just because one rod hooked all the salmon it can passed around so everyone can share in the fun. The twins are fine, we took a road trip this pass weekend to Pullman Washington for the WSU vs. OSU football game. They were a bigger hit than the football game.
