Parking at mouth of Eagle Creek

Fellow Ifish members, I have never fished the mouth of Eagle creek. Where do you park to fish there? I have heard about the vehicle break ins and am duly advised. Also, do the coho go on the bite when it starts to rain (barometric pressure change) or is it better to wait for the river flow to increase? Any opinions on this are welcome. I am not sure if it is posted in the other snagging post, but what # do you call to report snaggers? I am going to program it in to my cell. I have fished other parts of the Clack and not seen much if any snagging taking place, but reports seem to indicate problems @ Eagle creek.

There is a park there just as you cross the bridge. If the turn out is full park along the road. Just be sure that your rig is full off the roadway. It is narrow and they do tow.

As far as turning in snaggers, to get a conviction, or at least a good case, you must see the actual event, the police must also confiscate the fish to collaborate your testimony and there should be you plus one on your side to avoid the his word vrs your word situation. If there is this amount of good evidence this should result in a plea bargin, if the criminal has at least one brain cell, and no court time on your part as a witness..

Let us know if you get a good signal on the cell down there. I want to see some snaggers get busted! Our help is the best way to curb the snagging problem (with the police budgets getting slashed etc). If anyone out there could be a potential witness. One other issue is to not be discouraged by the plea bargin. Everyone gets one chance. The second time is where they prove themselves to be truely crimminals.
