Feesh sangwich at the REEL McDONALD\'S
I got a little heavy in the long McD thread so I feel like making up for that here; and keeping it somewhat fishing related, along with a personal experience. For starters, I would like to know what kind of fish they put in their filet sandwichs. And if they are drag chain caught? Anyway ...
Don't you guys get tired of fuzzed out speakers in the 'drive thru' order? I can barely understand a clear voiced person speaking perfect English at some of them. On occassion of running into a fuzzy speaker box, ordering from a person new to our country can be a trying experience! For the following example add distortion sounds to the words coming to me from the speaker box:
Fuzzy - "Wuulca ti Makonold"
RT - "Ah, I'll have a couple of fish filet sandwichs, large fries, large coke, and a large chocolate shake"
Fuzzy - "hagun pleece"
RT - "2 fish filets, big fries, big cola, and big brown shake"
Fuzzy - "hokay. twho feeesh fuulays, beefrice, bicoho, beeb rounsnake. ooh vont frice weedat"
RT - "HUH?"
Fuzzy - "hoookay. tuu feesh ...
RT - "STOP! I'll try something else"
Fuzzy - "hizzzzzzzzzzhaaagggggggghhh"
RT - "Hold on. your speaker isn't clear"
Fuzzy - "Huh?"
RT - "Do you have any donuts?"
Fuzzy - "rezrooom roun bak"
RT - "Oh geeeez"
Fuzzy - "cheece eggstra"
RT - "Your speaker ... nevermind, can I re-order?"
Fuzzy - "uu vont frice witdat?"
RT - To 3 cars at the pick-up window and 7 cars behind "GET THE **** OUT OF MY WAY -- NOW!"

Are you generalizing about the drive thru experience? It sure sounds like you are describing the one on Cornell & Murray. !!

Stevie those are "yudontwanano" fish I believe. It's like Jerry Seinfeld said about Chicken McNuggets, "What part of the McChicken does that come from"

Ugh, either way stay away from the tartar sauce.
RT, that must be the McDucks at Cornell and Murray. I never quite get what I want when I order there. Altough will never again order the Feesh sangwich after finding scales and skin in one about 5 years ago.
Don't get me wrong, I love to eat fish, just not all of it.

Slow roll,
At least by finding a scale and some skin you know there`s something that kinda resembles fish in it.

Re: Feesh sangwich at the REEL McDONALD\'S
The one near CM (by Safeway in the Sunset Mall) is the one I occassion ... 5 times a week . Nah, maybe a couple times a month. But in keeping within my guidelines of consuming less than a cup of pure grease per day , I usually eat their pancakes in the morning - w/o the sausage of course - or the fish san' later in the day. That is genuine fish; not bad stuff either, it actually is white flacky fish. But I always!! scrape off the 2 T. of mayo fat based tartar sauce they load on them - that is where most of the fat is. And now on a diet - again! - I even squeeze the grease out of the deep fried filet into a couple napkins (you won't believe how much that soaks the napkins!). This makes it an acceptable deal, and still tastes pretty good.

Edit: Oh geez 4S', I think blowfish are on the ESA list. At least that's what I hear from most of the guys. Better get that edited dude.
