WARNING !!!!!!!
If you get an e-mail that starts with kdavkis@ci.akron DO NOT OPEN IT YOU WILL BE SORRY !!!!!!,I didn't open it,I clicked on it to delete it as soon as I clicked on it ,it opened up and took me to **** page and another an another an another it was one right after another every time ,I closed a page another would open.I finally got a a page asking me if I wanted to go to Razor. (I'm not giving the whole address cus,I'm afraid it might open on you) it says click yes if you want to close the page, WELL !!! if you click anything it wipes out your home page and puts that razor page in there and its a ***** to get rid of.I finally got the e-mail address deleted from my mailbox but only after it put that home page on my computer. There is a a way to fix this but I had to call my at home service to do it and I've been up since 4:00 this morning and don't remember right now sorry,I'll have to go into my e-mail to find then if anybody wants to know I'll tell you.It has something to do with options there is a place you go in your mail box that lets you preview your mail before you open it go in there and uncheck the preview box. That way you have to open your mail to see it.I don't open any e-mail if I don't know the who it is I just delete it, this didn't give me a chance. Re: WARNING !!!!!!!
OK, here it is if you have outlook express for your e-mail go to view then to layout then uncheck preview pane box, that way you have to double click to open your mail and it won't open with single click and you can delete the message.

Re: WARNING !!!!!!!
whats the title of the email?
I ask because usually it doesnt matter who its "from" because these things are spread through email address books somewhat like a virus.....Pesky.

Re: WARNING !!!!!!!
It appears to me that the email you're referring to came from a City email address, that being the City of Akron Ohio. I can guess the rest of the address, but won't post it. @home should be able to report this and have it remedied.

Re: WARNING !!!!!!!
Good advice Dawhunt!
Anyone running Outlook Express (and that's most of us) should disable the preview pane. To peek without opening an Email, right-click, choose Properties, Details, then Message Source. The contents may then be viewed in text form.
To prevent multiple windows from opening any time, including those 'pop-under' X-10 ads, there's a slick, free, tiny software program featured here that will prevent pop-up. It is sweet.
Stay safe, surf smart. See ya on the river.

Re: WARNING !!!!!!!
Hi sailcat, thanks for the info,I've downloaded the pop up stopper just now. Thanks alot.If you read my first posting,I gave you the start of the e-mail address,I didn't want to post the whole address for fear, I could give it to one of you,it was a real nightmare to get rid of,I'm not very knowledgeable about computers
and had one heck of a time.I did notify at home and there going to turn them into somebody and they'll trace the address back and do whatever it is they do to those people.
