Default Seen any Gators?

OK...Sturgeon is open again. Has anyone seen any keepers at Kelly Point or Camas or the Fishery yet? I'm getting my boat on the water for the first time in two weeks tomorrow. It was down with a waisted outdrive, so after spending over $3k to replace it, I'm looking for blood tomorrow! Any suggestions anyone?

Fished out of the Fishery towards Beacon rock on the 1st. We fished for salmon from daylight to 11:00. We had one takedown, but no fish. Moved to my favorite sturgeon hole and picked up a 45" & a fat 49". We were done by 1:30. The largest concentration of boats(8 to 12) seemed to be directly in front of the Fishery. Saw several oversize, and a lot of shakers, only a few keepers besides ours were taken. On the way home, we saw 2 boats fishing the wall, none at tunnel turn. Looked like you may be able to launch at Rooster rock, but double check the tide!

Good report, Gooseman. You can probably find Gators at all of the usual places. Desdemona shoal would be my first choice.

The good news is that just about all of the holes should have keepers in them. At least until unnatural (angler) selection thins them out again.

Kelley Point should kick out a keeper or two. You know the spot DC.
