Default Round Butte Kokane

Thinking of heading to Round Butte for a little fall Kokanee fishing. Usually fish the Metolius arm, but normally go earlier in the season. Has anyone been over lately? How is the road to Perry South. Is the boat ramp usable for a 23 ft sled? Any info appreciated.

Fished there a week ago but on the deschutes arm. Lot's of spawning koke's not to many biter's. Road to perry's lot's of washboard your boat should launch just fine there.

If you can, put your boat in at the first ramp and drive across. Have someone meet you with the truck and trailer at Perry South. You will both get there at about the same time and it will save a lot of shakin' and bouncin' damage. The ramps are always fine for all boats. They can't vary the water level by more than 1 foot due to agreements with the COA.
