Default Carrots meet Broodstocks (Pics) Tillamook

We couldn't have asked for better weather and the fishing was great to boot!
The day started off slow so we were wondering what was going on, the water looked great and the carrot milk was fresh but we were still coming up short.......hummmm.....WATER TEMP! As soon as that sun came up- BAM!! fish on! We were able to scoop up a fish in every hole (practically) We ended the day landing 8 and keeping 3. We released 4 natives and 1 skinny brood.

I hooked one that did 7 complete flips...she wasn't liking that jig, it was AWESOME! And I mean AWESOME!

Zaq had a beast on, it shot up river like no one's business, It swam into the anchor rope of a boat about 60 yards up river. There was nothing we could do, it was a freight train! I wish we could have got a look at it, Oh well....there was more to come.

Here's some friends we ran into. You can see weekend warrior in the first boat....I think he has a fish, set the hook Geoff! Last we talked he had two nice keepers, maybe he'll post.

Here's some moments

Some more

Here's my biggest for this year (nice fight)

Is this little guy missing something?

Ok, now I know why Team Carrot catches all those fish.

It ain't because of Carrot Milk. It's because they are all rich and don't have to work. They can buy all those fancy boats and fish all the time.

Just kidding, I'm jealous of all the fish you guys catch.

Great job on catching all those fish and then posting the reports and pics on Ifish.

I keep telling myself "one of these days I'll be able to catch fish like Team Carrot"

You don't remember it, cuz you were fishing in the beginners hole. LOL!
The other day, we had that hole all to ourselves! Then, we started fishing it and didn't get a thing. It was then that we realized WHY we had it all to ourselves!
Congrats on a good day and remember to take me next time.

You mean you have to actually be fishing to catch fish?

What's up with that?

Nice catch!

ZaQ and Bobby it was great meeting the two of you you were enfuego(on fire). You guys had a great day today and that last fish you got was a dandy . I don't think we could have had a much nicer day except for the winds upriver, I thought I was in a sailboat.
Glad to finally meet you guys and sooner or later we have got to hit the river. As for that pic it wasn't a fish but soon after it was .
I think this was probably the nicest day in feb. I have ever fished, absolutely beautiful.
Had a good time chatting with yuh guys.

Nice pictures Bobby and Zaq! What are you going to do when everyone is using carrots and there are no fish left in the river? ODFW is going to set a ban.
