Default Mt. Bachelor rental??

Recommendations on a weekly rental at Mt. Bachelor for the end of March?

Looked at the Inn at Seventh Mt. website.

Thought some I-Fishers might have some insight to private rentals or good experiences elsewhere.

Wife and two kids coming with. Thanks.

Sounds like spring break. Might be kinda popular around there.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, you might think about Black Butte or Sunriver.

Hey there...we just rented a house at Sunriver for the Christmas holiday. We rented from Village properties. They have dozens of properties available...but you must book early as the choices will shrink the closer to spring break you get. We rented the place for 5 days and it cost about 850 if I remember correctly. We brought our own grub and prepared it in the well appointed kitchen...saved a pile of cash that way. Hot tub on the back deck...gas fireplace...vaulted ceilings....washer and dryer...etc etc.....the only way to go. We do it twice a year now.

The typical rental home is about 1200 square feet.....and it beats the heck out of staying in town or in a noisy populated hotel for about the same amount of money....

You may no this, but there really isn't much in the way of on mountain rentals. So, you either stay down the mountain almost in Bend or in Bend. If you keep that in mind, more choices are available.

Sunriver is more setup for large groups of people renting a big house. You should be able to get a room at the Inn at Seventh mountain with a single bed and a fold out for the kid.

Sunriver is really your best bet. You can get any size home or condo, everything from a studio up to a huge home. It's about the same drive from Sunriver to Bachelor as from Bend to Bachelor and you'll enjoy your time more.
As others have said, you might want to act quickly since that's prime rental time.

As was said earlier, Village properties at Sunriver has a nice selection of varying size rentals. They offer a 4 nights for the price of 2 spring special that runs through June 15th. You can also do a 6 for 3 deal.
