Default About friggin' time, part Deux (aka BLING)

OK, it was a slow day for me and a couple of buddies. Not a lot flying for us so I had no trouble taking a couple of drake ringnecks. My buddies were pickier on what they shot, but finally it happened.....I shot a nice Mallard and when the dog came back with it...

: dance:

I FINALLY shot a banded bird (Yes, I am saying FIRST BAND EVER!). And yes, I did a happy dance in the blind. The info: Banded in British Columbia on 8.8.2005. I am waiting for the certificate for more detailed information.

My yellow lab Bilbo was along today and he did enjoy the hunt.

Tomorrow looks to be windy...I can't wait to see what it will bring

We all know, though, that if I hadn't had to go to work, I would've shot it.

Or something.

Nice bird!
